WHERE IS DUMBLEDORE DEVONS LOCATED?

We are nestled in the beautiful PNW mountains of NE Washington state, just north of Spokane.

**PLEASE NOTE** Dumbledore Devons will NEVER engage with clientèle via text message, we will always speak directly with you over the phone or via video chat.

We only deal w/ direct Bank to Bank wire or cash for transfer of funds (no paypal, venmo, cashapp, bitcoin, etc) ~ No Exceptions

IS THERE A WAITING LIST..??

ARE DEVON REX HYPOALLERGENIC?

In short NO. Devon Rex are considered as a low allergen breed due to their unique coat type, which sheds significantly less than other breeds. The Devon Rex is a great option for people who have mild cat allergies.

A truly hypoallergenic cat does not exist due to the fact that all cats have the protein allergen Fel D1 in their saliva.

Devon Rex coat type simply minimizes the spread of dander & other allergens in your home. Dumbledore Devons highly recommends consulting your doctor to see if a Devon may be the right breed for you.

Absolutely! We receive inquiries from interested families throughout the year, so reaching out via telephone is the fastest way to find out which kittens are immediately available, once requests have been fulfilled, we will have kittens available to the general public.

Dumbledore does it's best to produce high quality Devon for family environments. Precisely crafting such magical little beings takes a skillful hand, a little magic & most importantly, T I M E.., so we do appreciate your patience whilst we do what we do so well.

We recommend reaching out once you have made the formal decision to move forward by submitting an application in order to procure a coveted spot on our upcoming kitten lists!

Your waiting period is a great time to make 1st Veterinary appointments & to spend time getting properly prepared for your new arrival!

DO KITTENS COME WITH A HEALTH GUARANTEE..??

YES! We provide a 6 month health guarantee covering life threatening illness. In order to maintain our high breeding standards, all Dumbledore breeding Kings & Queens are screened for detectable feline disease. Including but not limited to HCM, PKD & CMS..

Application, Written Deposit, Nutritional, Care & Purchase Agreements are part of Dumbledore’s purchase requirements.

We utilize the professional services of UC Davis' elite Veterinary Genetics Laboratory for all of our genetic health panel testing!

WHAT AGE WILL MY DEVON BE READY TO LEAVE?

HOW CAN I RETRIEVE MY KITTEN?

We have a few options available for retrieving your kitten. Once your kitten's Veterinary exam has been finalized, families are welcome to retrieve their kitten in a number of ways, (A) in person (driving directly to our home), (B) as an add-on option we offer our Airport Delivery Package, where we deliver your kitten directly, meeting you at our local airport. Spokane airport code is GEG or (C) Delivery via Pet Nanny Service, Referrals are available, call direct.

The Devon Rex is NOT to be compared in size to more common domestic Felis cactus & oftentimes may require special considerations. for perspective, Devon Rex kittens are born roughly the size of a Netherland rabbit kit, they are smaller than most domestic breeds & therefore require additional time to physically mature. Upon reaching their 1 month mark they can double their birth weight, weighing only 7-9 oz (200 - 260 grams) for this reason we do not release our kittens to their new homes until they reach a minimum age of 14-16 weeks, allowing them the additional time for both physical & mental development.. A fully grown Devon Rex may reach an adult weight of only 6-9 pounds..
