not like your typical lazy mastiff and possess   extremely high amounts of drive and energy.  

 

 

As amazing as they are,..  

they certainly are NOT a breed for everyone.. They do require extensive training and socialization and  the breed  also demands  a firm pack leader throughout their  entire lifetime .

Such  naturally protective instincts  are instilled so deeply within these canines  that they only really guidance and  structure and do not usually require formal training in this field as they will readily protect  their children, their home &  their  family by sheer instinct alone..

The Cane Corso makes the most wonderful and delightful  companion for children and oftentimes will  create a strong bond with the children  within their family profle.

Children should always take a lead role  within the dynamic of any household involving canines but this is especially  the case in a household that owns one or more  molossus breed dogs and the reason is clear due to their sheer size alone.

A Corso's child  should always be his leader and so taking a part in playing the lead roll of your pack at home with training and discipline from the very beginning will  surely get you  and your entire family started off on the right foot.
